Where providers are right now
Aged care keeps changing. The Aged Care Act and the Strengthened Quality Standards have added to what a registered provider needs to know and be able to show.
Many of the providers I work with are the owner, the clinical lead and the quality officer all in one. If that sounds like your week, care plan audits and policy reviews can sit at the bottom of the pile, even when you know they matter.
That is very common, and it can be fixed. It doesn't need to be scary.
